Protection Dog Training

Protection Sports Association is a relatively new sport founded in 2001, which combines elite-level control and advanced obedience with protection.

There are two phases of the sport:

Obedience

IGP/IPO is a highly technical protection dog sport designed to test a dog's working ability and bond with the handler.

We offer family/personal protection dog training to ensure your dog can protect you no matter what, while remaining neutral in the environment and reliable on- and off-leash.

Environmental stability

During our decoy mentorship, students will have access to live practical sessions with our protection/sport dogs weekly to supplement our theory lessons that underpin how we build dogs from start to finish.

 

This is a long course to ensure you are capable of working and building dogs safely once certified.
